Kota Bhanu Prakash is an energy-sector leader with over 37 years of industry, management and governance experience. He has led STEAG India since 2009 across strategic, business and joint-venture roles, following more than two decades with NTPC Limited. He currently leads the organisation through its transition into the Bluspring Group, focusing on business growth, energy transition, digital transformation, innovation, governance and client partnerships, while supporting over 12 GW of generating capacity across India and overseas.
He holds an M.Tech. in Power Generation from IIT Delhi, an MBA in Finance and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, with executive development from IIM Ahmedabad and the Institute of Directors. A Certified Industry 4.0 Professional, he is associated with CII and ASME and has international exposure across India, Germany, Africa and Bangladesh.
